I RememberIt is hard to fathom, to understand what happened eight years ago on this date. On my way to school, my mom and I heard it across the radio on our favorite radio stations – Oldies 104.3. I could not comprehend it. I was only 10 years old right then, 11 in just under a month. I thought it was in my home city – Chicago. My mom explained to me that the Twin Towers in New York was what had been struck. It took a long time to settle into my mind what she was saying.
